Como si del mejor festival de música se tratara, el tracklist ( ''lista de canciones'' para los que aprendieron inglés en Opening ) de cualquier entrega de Guitar Hero crea la misma expectación. Gran parte de los amantes de la música rock adoran este juego, además de por los variados temas, su punto fuerte es la adictiva jugabilidad. Con varios niveles de dificultad y las ganas de superar nuestro propio récord, el juego da para muchas horas a pesar de su repetitivo esquema.

Activision ha hecho oficial el tracklist de la próxima entrega, Guitar Hero: World Tour. Una vez más la lista es de lo más variada, para todos los gustos, con clásicos de la talla de Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Van Halen, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Michael Jackson y muchos otros, que algunos de esos otros destacan en la lista por su inexplicable y chirriante presencia ( Blink 182 o Tokio Hotel). La gran novedad de esta entrega es que además de la ya conocida guitarra, el juego vendrá con nuevos instrumentos, batería y micrófono, convirtiendo el juego en una experiencia cooperativa que nos asegurará tardes con los amigos muy divertidas.

En U.S.A saldrá a la venta el 26 de octubre y se podrá comprar el pack completo ( guitarra+micrófono+batería+juego) por 189'99 dólares ( 120 euros),  el pack con guitarra y juego valdrá unos 60 euros y el juego solo entre 40 y 30 euros, dependiendo de la consola. El juego estará disponible para PS3, XBOX 360 y Wii.
